No polished pitch needed · No payment until you choose to book
Traditional plans delay launch. Banks and grants sometimes want one; most extra-income businesses need a priced offer and a live journey more than a 40-page PDF.
The Launch Plan gives you a written Opportunity Decision Brief: customer, offer, income model, risks and next steps. If you continue, we build the operational business.
We are not a business-plan writing mill. Typically 4–6 weeks after direction is approved for the build. No guaranteed funding and no guaranteed income.
How to write a business plan is a search that usually wants permission to delay. A plan is a document. A business is a customer who can pay. We do not sell forty-page plans. We do not run a business-plan mill for banks, grants or competitions. What we do write is an Opportunity Decision Brief: customer, offer, income model, risks, validation actions, next steps—two to three pages you can act on. If a third party still demands a long PDF, say so; we still start with the commercial decisions, and the long document remains yours to extend. Typical build, if you continue, is four to six weeks after direction is approved. Billed in GBP. No guaranteed funding. No guaranteed income.
Plan theatre is the performance of seriousness: SWOT tables, five-year hockey sticks, market-size slides copied from a generic report. Extra-income businesses rarely need that theatre to take a first customer. They need a priced offer and a live journey. You can start with an idea or with none; the brief is the plan that matters. We do not register companies. We do not give tax advice. We will not pretend a document is a launch. Write less. Decide more. Then, if the case holds, we build the operational vehicle the plan was pretending to describe.
Write less. Decide more.
Who pays, for what, at what price, and how they buy. That is the plan that matters. Everything else is appendix.
If you need a document for a third party
Say so on your launch profile. We still start with the commercial decisions. Formation, loans and grants remain yours.
A business plan is not a forty-page document we sell
If you wanted a forty-page template, a search would have ended on a free download. You are still here because the template did not start the business. We will not take £295 to fatten a PDF. The Launch Plan produces a concise brief, a session, and a recommendation. That is the writing we do. It is short on purpose so you cannot hide a weak offer in an appendix. Length is not rigour. A long plan with a mushy customer is still mush.
People ask us to ‘just write the plan’ when they are avoiding the offer. Writing more will not create a buyer. We would rather refuse that brief than become a mill. If you need a document for a competition, be honest on the profile. We still will not pivot the whole firm into grant writing. Extra income from a live vehicle is the product. Prose is a by-product of the decision.
Plan theatre versus a decision brief you can act on
Theatre looks like work. Colour-coded tabs, Porter’s five forces, a team page with roles you will never hire. A decision brief looks like answers: who pays, for what, at what price, how they buy, how you deliver, what would make this a bad idea, what to do next week. You can put the brief next to your diary. You cannot put a forty-page plan next to a first enquiry. That is the test.
We write the decision brief after a seventy-five-minute session so the answers are yours, not generated padding. AI can produce business-plan theatre in seconds. That is why plan theatre is now worthless as a signal of seriousness. Judgement is the scarce bit. The brief is dated and owned. Continue within fourteen days and the £295 is credited toward the £2,495 build—the thing the forty-page plan was describing and never shipping.
When a third party still asks you to write a business plan
Banks, some landlords, some grant schemes, some partners want a longer document. That requirement is theirs. We can give you a commercial core that is true. You and an adviser can wrap it in the format they asked for. We will not fake five years of revenue to make a form happy. We will not guarantee the third party says yes. Funding is not our product. A live extra-income business is.
If the third party is the only reason you are starting, pause. Starting for a grant is a different sport. Starting so someone can buy is ours. Tell us which sport you are in. Idea or none still works for the commercial core. Typical four to six weeks to build after approval if you continue. Formation and tax stay yours. A plan does not file a company, and we will not file one because a template had a ‘legal structure’ heading.
Writing less of a business plan so the business can exist outside the PDF
The point of writing is to decide. Once decided, the business has to exist in a browser, in a journey, in a delivery rule—not only in a file. We build that existence. People who keep rewriting the plan are protecting themselves from go-live. We will not join a rewrite loop. The brief has a completion: delivered. Then you choose to build or to stop. Stopping is allowed. Endless drafting is not a service we sell.
After go-live, you will not open the PDF to take a customer. You will open the site. That is why we spend the money and the weeks on the site and the journey once the brief is done. Thirty days of guidance is included in the full build. No promised invoices. Begin the profile when you want a plan that is a decision—then a business—not a script for plan theatre.
Who this is for
- People searching how to write a business plan who actually need a business
- Those who will not spend months on a document nobody will buy from
What you leave with
A decision brief instead of plan theatre: the few pages that choose a customer and a price—not a forty-page document we sell, and not a substitute for a live business.
One-to-one with the founder. Start with an idea — or with none. Typically 4–6 weeks after direction is approved. Income goals are ambitions, not guarantees. We help you build a credible business ready to reach customers—not promise specific earnings.
Common questions
Do I need a business plan to start?
You need a clear offer and a way to take customers. A long plan is optional. We provide a concise decision brief, then we build the operational business.
Will you write a plan for my bank or a grant?
We write a commercial brief you can use as a core. We do not sell grant applications, loan packs, or five-year forecast theatre. If a third party wants a longer PDF, that extension is yours. We still will not invent numbers to please a form.
How long is the Opportunity Decision Brief?
Typically two to three pages: recommended opportunity, rationale, customer, need, offer, income model, risks, validation actions and next steps. It is complete when delivered after the session. Launch Plan £295. Full build £2,495 credited within fourteen days. Typical build is four to six weeks after approval.
