Unemployed

Start a business while unemployed so a stranger can pay—while you still look if you need to

Unemployment is a clock without a payday. Buyers are not hiring managers. They buy an artefact. You can arrive with that artefact named, or with no idea. We develop a lean extra-income offer one-to-one and build a journey you can run while you still apply.

We build operational businesses. Start the Launch Plan — £295 — with an idea, a skill, an interest, or none.

This URL is the gap after a contract ends, a firing, or a pause you did not plan. The product stays small: one artefact a first yes can attach to, scoped around hours spent on applications as well as delivery. You can keep looking. The public site is an offer, not a CV.

Joshua started Business Idea Launch so people in that gap have a founder to shape what they sell and then build the operational layer—not another hustle list. Idea or no idea. Profile, session, written brief, then a live extra-income presence if you continue.

£295 is the one-to-one direction when you are ready to build a vehicle. £2,495 total if you continue within 14 days, credited. Typical 4–6 weeks after approval. Extra income is the aim. A wage is not a guarantee.

Benefits and Jobcentre processes stay with the services built for them. We cover offer, brand, website, journey, workspace and launch support. Cooling-off is a full refund before we meet.

If interviews are already in the diary, say how many hours they take. We will not design a delivery slot that collides with a panel you cannot miss. Panels pay in a wage if they land. A website does not pay for missing them.

A gap on a CV is not a brand story we will lead with. Buyers did not come to hire you. They came to close a problem.

Interviews already in the diary are a wage if they land. We will not put a delivery slot on top of a panel you cannot miss. Say the hours. The artefact shrinks to fit, or we tell you to keep applying this month.

A hiring manager is not a customer. Do not build a CV as a shop

Homepages that read like a longer LinkedIn about being ‘open to opportunities’ convert nobody. A buyer wants a problem closed. We will cut the unemployment story out of the hero until a stranger could purchase without knowing you are between roles.

If the only thing you can sell is ‘I’ll do whatever’, we treat that as a blank-page start. We develop directions from what you already delivered well, then we package one artefact a stranger can buy.

Runway without payday makes people overbuild

The instinct is to look busy: logo, stack, five packages, a course. Busy is not demand. Demand is one artefact a first yes can attach to. We will push for narrower because you cannot staff a maze without a salary.

If you have a lump sum, that is not a reason to buy premises or ads. It is a reason to keep the first vehicle stoppable.

Applications and a vehicle can share a week. They cannot share a homepage

You can still apply. You should, if the buffer is thin. The extra-income site should not be a public job hunt. Mixing them trains the wrong yes: recruiters who will not pay a package price, buyers who smell desperation.

We will design the public offer as if you might stay self-directed. Your private week can still include applications. That split is adult. A hybrid hero is not.

What we will not file, claim, or promise

Benefits, tax credits, visa conditions, settlement agreements. Those sit with people allowed to advise. We build offer, presence, journey. You operate. Primary market UK. Billed in GBP.

Seven-day cooling-off before we meet. No lock-in. If the session says take the next role, keep the brief and take it.

A buffer is for rent, not for a five-offer maze

Unemployment makes people look busy. Busy is expensive. One artefact is cheaper. We will cut until the spend matches a stoppable first vehicle, or we will tell you to keep the buffer and keep applying.

Who this is for

  • People between jobs who can afford a bounded extra-income decision and still name an artefact
  • Those who will keep applying if the buffer is thin and will not turn a homepage into a CV

What you leave with

A lean extra-income offer that can take demand without a salary underneath, built one-to-one from idea or no idea.

One-to-one with the founder. Start with an idea — or with none. Typically 4–6 weeks after direction is approved. Income goals are ambitions, not guarantees. We help you build a credible business ready to reach customers—not promise specific earnings.

Common questions

Should I start a business instead of looking for a job?

Only if a scoped offer can exist. If it cannot, keep applying. We will say that in the brief. Extra income is not a guaranteed substitute for a wage.

Can I use redundancy or savings to pay you?

Only if the spend is not the money you need for rent. The Launch Plan is not a hardship product. A first vehicle should stay small enough to stop.
