Set up

Set up the part a customer can pay for

‘Set up’ on GOV.UK means structure and tax, and those pages are the right ones for that. Setting up a business a customer can feel is the offer, the page and a way to pay. That is the half we are glad to do with you.

Please use GOV.UK for the official checklist. It changes, and it is the source. We will not walk you through the forms, and we are not a formation agent, a bank, or HMRC.

What the checklist never finishes is why anyone pays you. We will help you say who buys, what they receive, and where they start. You can be a sole trader or a company and still have nothing to sell. We will not choose the wrapper.

Filing fees, if you incur them, are yours. Our fee is for the commercial setup. If you would like help, the Launch Plan is £295 with our team. Change your mind within seven days, before we meet, and we refund you in full. Continue within 14 days and the £295 is credited toward the £1,895 total. Income is an ambition, not a guarantee.

Two setups, kept apart

Official setup is structure, tax, a bank, insurance if you need it. Commercial setup is the offer and the path to payment. We do the second. Your adviser does the first.

What a customer needs to see

A sentence they understand, a price or a next step, a page, and a boundary so you are not on call forever. That is enough to feel set up in the sense that pays.

We develop the idea, the strategy and the website. Begin with a Launch Plan — £295 — from an idea, a skill, an interest, or none.

Licences, if your trade needs them

If the work itself needs a licence, get that advice before you sell. We will not invent a regulated activity you are not cleared to perform.

Companies House stays there

Bring questions about incorporation to Companies House or a formation service. We will point, not process. You are still very welcome for the offer.

Who this is for

  • People who have found the government pages and still need a customer
  • Those who do not want a formation agent in place of a launch

What this means for you

A commercial setup — offer, page, payment — distinct from the HMRC and Companies House steps you still do yourself.

Common questions

How do I set up a business in the UK?

Use GOV.UK for structure and tax. Separately, define what you sell and how someone pays. We do the commercial half. We do not file the forms.

Do you register the business at Companies House?

No. We are not a formation agent. We help you set up the thing a customer buys.
